The cars are one of the greatest inventions in the last centuries, they make our daily lives a lot easier than before, because this transport allow us to reach far places faster than we would do if we go walking, among others uses.

Before the use of cars, a travel to another city could take weeks or months to a person, using animals makes the trip shorter but continues taking much time if we contrast with cars. You can also travel with all your family in a car and taking baggage with you.

The cars also helps you to take heavy objects to one place to another very quickly, like household  electrical appliance, so you don’t need to exploit animals, you just can use your car or pay for a freight, and just minutes after the buy, you can have the object in your home.

But the cars need fuel to work, and in the most cases they use gasoline or gas, etc. and they produce too much contamination when they are operating. So the excessive use of cars in a city can make the life of the citizens very unhealthy, thanks to the pollution.

In consequence, the cars have changed our lives strongly, we can do things in minutes that it used to take months, like travel with your family or move objects to long distances, but we have to consider the cost of the cars, the contamination result of their use that can result being very dangerous for us and the world.

Technology and us

In the last years, the technology has improved a lot their range, every day you can see a piece of something that shows how popular can be the technology in our lives, it does not matter if you are a kid, and adult or an elder, the technology right now can be used for everyone, in any activity, when you work or in your free time.

Thanks to the technological advances, you can know what things are happen in every site of the world, thanks to things like internet of newspapers, and also you can talk with someone that is very far from you, like in another city or country, in just few seconds of wait, just using a telephone or computers with webcams.

The technology can be very useful also in the medicine. In the actual days, there a lot of illness that can be treatable that used to be mortal for people, there are treatments that can make the life of the sick persons more comfortable and less painful, and now exist surgery that can give back the body at normality after serious accidents.

In the other hand, the technology can be dangerous, one of their principal uses is the weaponry. These days, many of the armies in the world are in a competition to have the latest technology in their disposition. To have a certain status to get respect from others, the nuclear weapons are one of the most menacing actually.

The technology help us in many ways of our lives, but we have to take notice of their risks, so that it does not escape from our control, because it can be as deadly as helpful to us if we do not use it carefully, we have to take a determined limits to not take our planet in danger.

People with pets are better human beings?

It is a fact that love animals makes a people more kind, because they can understand that not only humans have feelings, but it does not necessary to be owner of a pet to have a better human beings, like a developed empathy with another people or animals, this qualities are refined independent having pets or not.

Someone that lives in a place that can’t have the opportunity to have a pet, like a dog or cat, because their home is not as big enough to have the animal without space problems, do not have to be a people that rejects animals or people, he can be very friendly anyway with anyone.

It does not necessary to be a proprietor of a dog or any other pet, to have a good relationship with and animal, you just can play with them or give them a little of food, and it would be very glad and pleased of you, so to have or not pets, not interfere with the human beings.

When you have a pet, you got a connection with it, you can understand his feelings, it does not matter if the pet cannot speak, the close relation of you and it makes possible, and this gets through your everyday life, with having the responsibility every time to take care of your pet.

The pets can make a person more sociable and responsible, but this do not cause that everyone who have a pet have better human beings that one person  who do not have, because a lot of values are something that someone learns separately having pets, things that the parents and other people teaches you when you are growing up.

To conclude, we can see that there is no need to have a pet, to being a good person, because the principles is something that someone learns in the childhood with the family or the people that surround you in that period.

Living in a remote area

Living in a remote area can make a person’s life rather challenging. When you are living in a remote area, you are far to the urban spaces, so you can not find any supermarket or places to buy supplies. You have to find another ways to obtain resources, like practice agriculture or going around recollecting some things to eat.

If you are living in a remote area, this can make you to stay closer to wild animals, and some of them can be considered dangerous, like bears in the woods, or crocodiles in the bogs, risks that you are not supposed to be exposed living in a city, so you have to stay alert if there are any trails of their presence to act carefully.

In the cities, especially the biggest, there exists too much contamination, because they have a lot of vehicles in their streets and factories. When you live in remotes areas, the appearance of vehicles and industries are very lower, so you can breathe the pure air of the nature without the levels of smoke that you can find in a city.

Large cars create a lot of difficulty in our streets. They also produce a big amount of traffic in the city. As shown by the peaks hours, many people use the streets to reach to their jobs, schools, universities, and also to get back to home, this types of vehicles make the traffic jam intensifies due to their sizes. When I used to go to school, my father didn’t used to go through the main street near our house, because we would arrive late to my school thanks to the big traffic in the way. This people have to change his habits to integrate without problems in our country, but after all, they still maintain part of their culture. Furthermore, some of the Palestinians have managed to work in many commercial areas, and some other related with their gastronomy, that it looks very interesting in our continent.

I’m interested to know more about the syncretism as result of their new life in Chile, about all the obstacles that they used to confront since they moved, and the experience to adapt in a new country so far in contrast to their native country, with a lot of differences in language, culture, and beliefs. So as a question I would say: ¿What are the main changes that the Palestinians have experimented in their culture and life after moving to Chile?

To obtain the more effective information for this research, I think that the mix methods like qualitative and quantitative types are the more suitable, like the interviews and surveys; this will be the method to follow, because they are the closest way to get the experiences of the immigrants.

To conclude, I think that a research that studies this type of facts in the society, would help us to understand in a better way the changes that we see actually in our countries, as a result of the lately globalisation. Doing this, we would find appropriate solutions to the principal problems about immigration.

Sub-aquatic archaeology

Right now, the world it’s a lot more water than earth, and this would mean that the seas are a great source of old human devices. Just like the archaeology have many ways to study the human heritage in the earth, like stratigraphy. Many of the early human groups used to live near the seas, they made vessels to fishing. I think that the seas are very important to know more about the human behavior, many archaeologists have studied topics related whit this, like Geoffrey N. Bailey and Nicholas C. The use of radars would be helpful in the mission to restore any archeological artifact, and to have a group of skilled divers trained to search at the bottoms of the sea, must be an primordial objective, because they must be very careful in the research to recognize any device without damage it in the process, to extract all of them and give it to a laboratory. With the help of the objects founded, the investigations would have more accurate results.
